Native American Heritage Month at USA Information Center Daugavpils.

November marks Native American Heritage Month in the United States. Every year, Info USA Daugavpils joins in paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans. This year we celebrated together with our guests from Daugavpils district schools. Our young explorers learned new facts about Native American culture, made stylized head decorations, played games, and read fairytales. Special thanks to Ināra Kazakeviča, Nellija Muižniece, and Tatjana Pancerko, without whom this wonderful event would not have happened.

U.S. Education Fair 2015 in Daugavpils

On the 10th of November, Daugavpils was host to the 2015 Education USA Fair. Representatives from six U.S. educational institutions discussed opportunities to study in the United States with students from the Daugavpils area. The event attracted more than eighty students who actively engaged in discussion with the participants. I would like to thank Jennifer Brook, Kari Gazdich, Gwen Guzman Rose, Sam Heikinen, Christopher Hendree, Kenley Jones and Vitaliy Kartamyshev for their contributions to this memorable event. Hope to see you next year! Special thanks to Daugavpils Russian Secondary School Lyceum and Daugavpils City Education Department for their support.
